Let the Planet/KB Object Aguements begin!

Just when you thought the arguments about whether or not Pluto should be considered a planet were over...

Via several sources such as the BBC astronomers at Mount Palomar have discovered a kuiper belt object that is between 730-1470 miles across. They have named at Sedna after the inuit goddess of the ocean.

The BBC article has an illustration at the bottom giving a size and distance comparison between Sedna and Earth & Pluto (plus the moon and Mars on the size comparison).
