lilfluffAll I can say is, normally if a program broke for a commercial break every two to five minutes I'd be annoyed. But I can't bring myself to switch away from this documentary about photographs that were taken on 9/11, and these commercial breaks are the only thing that's keeping it bearable.
But I think once it's over I may well turn the television off for the rest of the day.
I thought for years before that, that I understood what people were talking about when they spoke of an event that shaped their generation. After all, hadn't I, someone fascinated by space been around for Challenger? I can tell you exactly where I was when I first heard about it. But I was young enough, and distant enough for it not to have the same force. And while there are things to get angry about with the loss of Challenger, but I didn't learn about those things until I'd had time for it to become history and not the present.
I don't know if I'll ever be able to write more than a few sentences at a time. Six years and this is all I can write before I have to turn to something like talking about how much I can write.
