No posts as official as I'd like, but also close to 24 hours and there don't seem to be any posts saying it's a false alarm. It appears that the furry community has lost its big blue monoceros. Until I heard the news I hadn't consciously realized how long it had been since I'd seen anything from Tugrik. He hasn't been active on DreamWidth since 2010, I think I last saw him on Twitter back before it's descent. So I'd missed that he'd moved from California. I never met him in person, only a rare online conversion or comment on a post. But he was the sport of tech enthusiast to get you excited about the possibilities or what he had made in his workshop. Others have posted about how he'd answer tech questions helpfully and without talking down to the person who had asked for help. And if you like webcomics, for a number of years he provided hosting for some of the early webcomics and iirc the Crosstime Cafe forums that host discussion for some of those long running comics. We'll miss you, you big friendly blue fuzzy guy.
