Time for a camera

lilfluffI have decided that I need a camera. Or rather a digital camera. I do have two 35mm cameras, but film can be annoying. It's single use, you can't get a picture off it until you finish the whole roll unless you're willing to write off the rest of the roll. Because you had to shell over dollars for a roll you can only use once you're not so inclined to just snap away at whatever looks interesting. Then for the dollars you shell out for the roll you get only a handful of pictures. Yet the only way to improve you skill at anything is the three P's. Practice. Practice. And of course, Practice.
So I want to get a digital camera. I'm not going to aim for a super high end camera. For one thing there's no way I'm going to clear spending $500 or even $400 on a camera at this time. To many other things to spend money on. Something $250 and down. Preferably new so it will be under warranty. Removable memory a must, after all why spend the money to get around the 'only a handful of shots on this roll' problem, to get a camera you can't even swap the virtual rolls of film on.
Other than that it pretty much just has to not be a piece of [censored]. So looking at ads, looking at Digital Photography Review, and eye-ing cameras as I walk through the stores.
Of course if I do this, next thing you know I'll suddenly want to buy a photo printer as well as a laser printer. Sigh. I'm wanting to save money. Really. Honest.
