Wait, there are Van von Hunter strips prior to those in book 1?

Can you believe that despite having gone to the Van von Hunter site some months ago after reading the first print volume, and starting in on the strips that follow the events in the book, I hadn't noticed that the book doesn't start with the first strips. D'oh. And I mumble at work when people call in and haven't looked closely at what they're doing.

Nift! A whole new storyline, a prequel!

On another note, having been posted late Christmas eve, some may have missed my call for Anime and Manga viewing/reading suggestions. Especially cute stuff. So far it's largely an agreement that Merle isn't as annoying as popularly claimed.

I'm so with you on the Live-Action Kindachi needing to be brought over. My sis has all of it fansubbed and Matsu Jun is SO CUTE as Kindachi!

And season 3&4 of Danger Mouse is out now. I got it for Christmas. :D Seasons 1&2 are still with the nieces.

We picked up Eerie Indiana and the first two discs of Danger Mouse just in time for our DVD player to stop working. :| Still need to get around to borrowing or buying a one of those cleaning discs so I can see if it's just dust. (It still plays CD's, just not DVDs)

Lucky sis! I've only been hearing good things about the live action Kindaichi. (Of course I've only been hearing from fans, but surely that couldn't bias anything.)
