Amazing what can be packed into two lines

My comments on these two lines is spoilerish for Nanoha and Nanoha A's, so behind a cut...
In the first episode of A's Nanoha is jumped by a mysterious stranger. A red headed girl her own age who gives our hero a beat down even after she no longer has Nanoha held back by surprise. Nanoha finds herself pushed back into a wall, her magic artifact staff Raging Heart cracked and barely functioning, struggling to raise even a meager shield to block Red Head's next blow. Nanoha's hand cannot even hold Raging Heart steady and Red Head's form blurs as she tries to watch for the attach she knows is about to come.
Red Head gives her staff a swing, dropping a pair of shells and releasing a puff of steam. The girl brings the hammerhead of her staff back and readies her final blow.
Suddenly there's the flash of glowing lines as a magic circle forms and the blond haired Fate block's Read Head with her staff.
Red Head, "Allies, huh?"
Fate, readying her staff's plasma scythe. "We're friends."
But Fate's expression says, "Listen you little Red Headed punk, you think you're some emo loli-goth don't you? Hah, you don't know what the word angst means brat. Did your mother hang you from the rafters and whip you when you actually did what she asked? You don't even want to know what failure brought. You think you can attack the first person besides my familiar to try and be my friend? Just give me an excuse. Ignore me when I ask you do surrender. I dare you. Do the dumb thing and say no. I watched my mother die before my eyes and I just finally got past the trial her orders forced upon me. Please, pretty please, I could really use an excuse to release the stress. I'll toss your frilly butt up one side of the street and down the other. And then maybe I'll have enough control to let you surrender. Then again I know what angst and emo means, I was the villian of the previous series after all."
Then again it is just a stare that Fate gives Red Head. So maybe all that other stuff is just me.
