Webhosts, as long as I'm asking advice

Since I've already asked for advice on cell phone providers, I may as well also ask for advice on web hosting.

Anyone here care to mention a web hosting service that they've had luck with? Preferably with PHP and MySQL (or another database) included in a reasonably priced plan.

I suspect actually having something out where other people would see it would be encouragement to actually learn to put something together well
