Instant Messangers

Okay, I know at least some of the people on my friends list use Instant Messangers. What seems to be the best IM software these days? If I hunt around I've got the password for my old ICQ account saved somewhere...

I think rather well of Trillian, which lets you use all your different IM protocols (AIM, Yahoo!, MSN, ICQ, and IRC) in a single application.

I use gaim, which is pretty much the same thing as trillian, but with a different feature set.
