So over on Twitter someone pointed out that current events may be leading to Russia cutting off open internet access between Russia and the rest of the world, and LiveJournal's servers were moved to Russia some time back. I imported my entries from LJ to here a while back so I'm not too concerned about losing anything I'd posted, and iirc the importer also grabbed comments although I'd better check because I'd hate to lose some of those. A quick search turned up some software which will either archive your own LJ blog or download posts that are accessible to you but I haven't used any of those for some time so can't really advise between them (I was using Semagic for a while back when I still mainly ran Windows, but that was a few computers ago and back when LJ was my primary blogging site, so I have no idea how good the newest available version is).
