Kesley clapped for attention until the children gathered in the classroom stopped chattering and turned their attention to him. He allowed the silence to fill the room until he was certain all were ready to listen.

"Some legends claim that in countless days past, in days before the first Skyland, in days even earlier there was a time when the God had yet to gift his chosen with the first Skyforge, and in those days humanity walked upon the surface of the planets.
