The error was not in the cut&pasted quiz results...

Instead the weird formatting was an example of what happens when you don't put a closing quotation mark in the href section of a link. In other words entirely my fault.

I didn't see it until I snipped out the quite results though. Whereupon I could see that nearly 90% of the entry was being considered part of the link text.

I really need to get around to reinstalling an LJ client. That or not post when I've been up a good four or five hours past when I should have been in bed.
