They're offering Tai Chi at work and this was the first week. An hour over lunch two days a week. We're still working our way through the first form, the teacher is having us do a few steps several times then introducing the next step, then we repeat again. By the end of the hour your legs are tired but you're feeling good.
The teacher's cool. He provides explanations for everything, including when he's tricking us into doing things. "Now I'm tricking all of you into stretching and holding that last posture by pretending that I need to slowly work across the room from person to person. Traditionally I'd be expected to just walk out and have a drink or smoke, but we're not allowed to do that on college property."
It's amazing how something that makes absolutely no sense if you just have a few photos and written directions becomes straight forward when you can actually watch someone do it.
