Getting a mobile for sure this time
Nov. 26th, 2005 05:12 pmSpeaking of spending money...
I've debated getting a cell phone in the past, but I've had a few to many time recently where I wished I had one. So I'm in research mode again.
Sprint I can get a discount (15% I think) on via work. The phones they list look reasonable too. And Sprint is offering a plan where incoming calls are free (for a bit more money up front, probably not worth it for me). Verizon has had a few good comments from some people I know; disadvantage is I'd have to take the time to reverse their bluetooth crippling on whatever phone I picked (turning off everything but the headset profile should require a warning label to be placed on all ads, "Because we are insatiably greedy, we will turn off half the nifty features the manufacturer built into the phone we are selling you.").
Anybody pleased enough by their provider to try and pitch them to me?
